Today I did a task. That task was to create a UV indicator. I made one so you could switch to what UV level is. So you and your whanau can stay safe. Here it is.

Ka pai, what a great ultraviolet indicator! I really like that you have a key index for the different levels of UV rays and that the boxes get bigger depending on the severity! It would definitely be an effective way to keep families safe during the summer.

If you were to make a UV indicator in real life, where would you hang it? And would it make an alert sound to let people know the meter level has changed? There are lots of cool features you could add to it!

Tino pai and keep up the great work!

    Ngā mihi,

  2. Tena koe Elle,

Thanks for commenting on my blog. If I made a real UV index I would hang it up around my neighbourhood so it's not jut my Family and I being sun smart. So my neighbours can be sun smart too.

I would check the UV levels, so I can change my UV index.

    Blog ya later

    1. Mōrena Laylah, you are most welcome and it is wonderful to hear back from you!

Wow, that is so thoughtful of you to think of helping your whole neighbourhood! It is so important to keep everyone around us safe and aware about UV rays.

That’s awesome that you would be so involved with the updating of the levels too - I like the way you think!

      Ka pai te mahi!
